    Ladakh Tour on Bike

    Day 01:  Depart Delhi for Manali (Board the Volvo)

    Today you will be met by our representative at Volvo pick-up point, and your journey will begin from here to the sparkling land of Himachal Pradesh. The overnight journey takes you through cities. Overnight Journey..

    Day 02:  Arrive Manali ( By Car ) 

    Upon arrival in Manali Bus Stop you will be met by our representative and check in at your pre-arranged hotel/guest house. In the evening Check and verify your bikes before starting the expedition to Ladakh…  Evening at Leisure & Overnight at Hotel / Guest House.

    Day 03: Manali to Sarchu (210 Kms )( By Bike ) 

    Today we make an early start on our journey to Leh Stopping at Sarchu for a night. Today we skip Rohtang Pass (3978 m) and cross the 9 km-long Atal Tunnel, the longest highway tunnel in the world which connects the ManaliSolang valley to the Lahaul and Spiti valleys in Himachal Pradesh and the Zanskar valley in Ladakh. This is the major route to Ladakh which remains accessible for the public from June to October. Today  enroute we crossed Keylong(3350 m), Baralacha Pass (4890m) with overnight stopover at Sarchu (4253 m), border of the states of Himachal Pradesh (Lahaul) and Jammu & Kashmir (Ladakh).  Upon arrival in Sarchuwe check in at our tented campsite for overnight stay.

    Day 04: Sarchu to Leh (259 Kms / 10 Hrs Ride Approx)

    After an early breakfast we check out from the hotel and ride north on the Manali-Leh Highway. You get to see some of the most breathtaking landscapes that the Western Himalayas can offer. The scenery gets more stark and barren as we climb up to the 16,500-foot high Baralacha La the second mountain pass on our journey. From the past beautiful views of meadows and snow-capped mountains can be seen. And we proceed further through Nakeela and Lachungla Pass 16,617 ft. Lunch at Pang. After Lunch drive to Leh passing through SkyangchuThang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft and Indus Valley. Upon arrival in Leh you’ll met by our representative and check in at our Hotel

    Day 05: Leh to Alchi to Leh: ( By Bike ) 
    After breakfast excursion to visit the 1000 year old paintings of Alchi Monastery 68 km from Leh en-route visit the great statue of Maitreya Buddha at Likir monastery, Sangam of Indus & Zanskar River which are the two major rivers in Ladakh, Magnetic Hill and military Hall of Fame.
    Day 06: Leh to Nubra Valley (125 Kms / aprx. 06 hrs): ( By Bike ) 
    After an early breakfast we drove to NUBRA VALLEY and went through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive Sumur or Hunder by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure to explore the beautiful village of Sumur & Hunder with a Visit to Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay at Camp.
    Day 07: Nubra-Turtuk-Nubra:  ( By Bike ) 
    After breakfast, leave for Turtuk. On the way visit Diskit Monastery. Turtuk is the last village on the Indian side of the border and was taken over by the Indian Army during the Kargil War. You will be mesmerised by the beauty in the Simplicity of Turtuk and its people. Return to Nubra. Overnight at your camp.
    Day 08: Nubra – Pangong Lake:  ( By Bike ) 
    After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft.), ride through Changla Pass 17,350 ft., it is the third highest motor-able road in the world. Visit Shyok River & Durbuk, Arrive at Pangong Lake. It is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong Lake with multi-colour reflections and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.
    Day 09: Pangong – Leh:  ( By Bike ) 
    This morning, after breakfast, I drove around the Pangong Lake and didn't forget to click photos!! Continue to Leh. En route, visit Hemis Monastery hidden in a gorge, the largest and wealthiest Gompa in Ladakh. Visit Stok Palace, famous for beautiful gardens and the view of sunrise as well as sunset is amazing from the palace. At present, the palace is open to visitors and presents a collection of royal attires, crowns and other royal materials. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Leh.

    Day 09: Leh   ( By Bike ) 

    After  an  early  breakfast  we  rode  to  the  11th  Century  Lamayuru  Monasteryenroute  visiting  the mesmerizing Moon Landscapes (you will believe why the name of this area is Moonland. Exactly the same formations of Land are visible as on the moon), Lamayuru is spectacularly located along the valley plain and surrounded by mountains on all sides. On your return drive to Leh you first visit the AlchiGompa. The complex of temples located within the village is the most celebrated of Ladakh’s monasteries and dates back to the 11th century. Finally you arrive back at Leh for an overnight stay at your Hotel / Guest House.

    Day 10:  Leh - Sarchu (255 Kms)  ( By Bike ) 

    Today I started riding backwards to Sarchu via Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft world's second highest motorable road. At Pang you can stop for lunch and continue riding to Lachungla pass, which is at a height of 5065 mts. Upon arrival in Sarchu we check in at our Camp overnight.

    Day 11:  Sarchu – Manali (222 Kms)   ( By Bike ) 

    Today we start our journey to Manali via Baralacha Pass (4890m) and continue the comfortable journey through smooth rides up to the Lahaul ranges. After Keylong (3350 m) we reach Rohtang Pass (3978 m) on which you have to drive carefully. By late evening we reach Manali and check in at our pre-arranged hotel for overnight stay.

    Day 12: Depart Manali To Delhi (Board the Volvo)
